Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Cogium LLC (“Cogium,” “we,” “us”) operates cogium.co. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you sign up for our mailing list or request a resource via the online form, we collect your email address. If you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, and anything you include in your message or booking.

Information collected automatically. Our mailing list form is provided by Kit (ConvertKit). When you load a page with the form, Kit’s script:

  • stores a random visitor ID in your browser’s local storage, which stays until you clear your browser data
  • sends Kit the page address, the referring page and that visitor ID on each page view, so Kit can count form views and, if you later subscribe, connect your earlier visits to your subscription

Loading Kit’s script may also set a short-lived security cookie from Cloudflare, which Kit uses to detect bots. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, which can include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested.

We do not use advertising pixels or general web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

How we use information

  • To send you the updates or resources you asked for
  • To reply to your messages and schedule calls
  • To understand how many people view our mailing list form
  • To keep the website secure and working

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • Kit (ConvertKit): mailing list and signup forms
  • Netlify: website hosting
  • Cloudflare: bot protection on Kit’s script
  • Google: email and call scheduling, if you contact us or book a call
  • HubSpot: our contact records, if you contact us or book a call

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
  • Access, correction or deletion: email privacy@cogium.co and we will respond within 30 days.
  • Local storage: you can clear the Kit visitor ID by clearing your browser’s site data for cogium.co.
  • Do Not Track: our website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our list, except where we must keep a record by law. We keep messages and booking details as long as needed to respond and for our business records.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including multi-factor authentication on the accounts that hold your information.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
