I'm Hugh Tipping. Tech consultant and career coach.
I help companies build cloud platforms their teams can actually run, and I help engineers figure out what comes next.
I help engineering teams ship faster, spend less on cloud, and own their platform.
1:1 coaching for tech professionals who feel stuck.

I've built platforms from scratch, migrated companies out of data centers and across clouds, led teams, and worked across startups and Fortune 500 companies.
That career has spanned the dot-com bubble, the 2008 financial crisis, layoffs, the pandemic, and the emergence of AI. Lived experience is at the heart of how I work and how I coach.
Today I split my time between platform engineering consulting for companies and 1:1 career coaching for tech professionals.
